Verdie L. Haines House. Ca. 1907
Two-story frame Foursquare-form house with novelty vinyl siding and an asphalt-shingle hip roof with gables with three-part windows. The one-story front porch has classical wood columns, turned balusters, and a concrete floor. Other features include a rockfaced concrete block foundation, an interior brick flue, a front entry with transom and a flanking diamond-shaped window, a two-story side wing with a ca. 1960 cinder-block addition, and a one-story rear wing The 1907 Sanbom map shows the foundation of this house in place. The house was apparently completed in 1910.
