Two-story single-family dwelling of random rubble stone (veneer) on a poured-concrete foundation/raised basement, with a standing-seam-metal gable roof, center-front gabled dormer, two interior stone flues, and an attached garage with a flat rooftop/ terrace on the north end of the house. Other features include 4/1 double-hung wood windows; a one-story, two-bay front porch at the top of a tall flight of stairs, with stuccoed square posts atop stone piers; and two one-story shed additions to the rear of the house. The house is located prominently on the corner of Port Republic Road and Dogwood Street. African American contractor Jacob Fuller built this house and its neighbor. Occupied by William O.
