From the National Register nomination

One-story, two-storefront commercial building of masonry construction veneered with plywood paneling at front and rear elevations. Two front entries are recessed behind the original facade, whose original storefront opening is now cast as a four-bay porch with shallow arches springing from slender turned posts. Original cast-stone flat parapet coping with dentil-like detailing remains at facade, and terra-cotta tile coping remains intact at side and rear parapets. Appears on 1948 Sanborn map in its present form, with two stores. In 1951 Wash 'n Shop occupied number 317; The Fabric Shop and Lyndhaven Florist occupied number 319. An A&N Store occupied the building in 1971.
