Two-story, five-bay Colonial Revival single-family dwelling of painted brick on the first story and wood siding on the second story is located on a large tree-shaded lot at the corner of Cherry and Oak avenues. The symmetrically composed facade has 8/8 double-hung wood sash and a central entry with a single-leaf paneled wood door with sidelights and a fan transom, all set beneath a one-story, one-bay front-gabled portico with grouped wood posts and a segmentally barrel-vaulted ceiling. Exterior-end brick chimneys and one-story side porches with brick columns, flat roofs, and Chippendale railings flank the main block of the house. A hip-roofed ell extends from the main block via a short breezeway-hyphen to the rear-yard's one-story gabled garage.
