What is it about?

From the National Register nomination

brick (stretcher with random sides and rear); 2 stories with English basement; hipped roof (standing-seam metal); 3 bays; 1-story, 3-bay porch with bracketed octagonal columns with sawn balustrade. Commercial (office). Greek Revival/Italianate. 1857-62. Entrance in west bay; double doors with sidelights and transom.
