Detached dwelling. Colonial Revival/Craftsman. Ca. 1910-12. Frame clad in stucco; 2½ stories; hipped roof; 1 hipped front dormer; 2-bay front; distyle front porch with flat roof and Roman Doric posts. Projecting eaves; grouped windows; some geometric glazing. This eclectic house was built for Charles Hancock, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at UVa.
