The 1920 2.5-story, wood-frame with vinyl siding early 20th Century American Movement house sits on a limestone foundation under a pyramidal roof clad with asphalt shingles. The house has 1,960 square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing within the neighborhood. The façade of the building features a three-bay arrangement, a wraparound porch that wraps to the east with wood columns, one-over-one, double-hung, vinyl replacement windows, an off-center to the west front door with an intact transom, and a two-story, one-bay projection on the east portion of the main façade that sits under the front facing gable that has intact scalloped wood detailing. There is also a two-story, three-bay projection under a hipped roof on the east elevation. There is an interior brick chimney on the west side of the building. There is also a rear addition with vinyl siding set of a poured concrete foundation that is only one-story with similar scale and massing to the rest of the house. The building is currently used as commercial space for the “First Step” Domestic Violence Response Office and the paved parking lot to the west of the building is also part of their property and is used by their staff and patrons. The house style and materials choice are representative of the neighborhood and the house follows setback from the street typical of the neighborhood.
