From the National Register nomination
The circa 1920 small two-story, wood-frame with vinyl siding outbuilding has been turned into a retail space for “Hugo Kohl Goldsmith.” The building has 528 square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing for outbuildings in the neighborhood. The building has a side-gabled, standing-seam metal roof, six-over-six, double-hung, vinyl replacement windows and is set of a limestone foundation. There is a reconfigured points of entry on the north and east elevations of the building. It is located facing Federal Street directly behind the Franklin Street rowhouses. The house style and materials choice are representative of the neighborhood, and the house follows setback from the street typical of the neighborhood.
