BrickContributes to the historic character of the district
From the National Register nomination
The 1923 2.5-story, wood-frame with brick veneer American Four Square sits on a limestone foundation under a pyramidal roof clad with asphalt shingles. The building has 2,790 square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing within the neighborhood. The façade of the building features an off-center to the north original front door, a full-front square wood post porch on a brick base that is accented by a wooden balustrade, and a projecting dormer. The windows throughout are one-over-one, double-hung, vinyl replacements. There is a south exterior-end brick chimney. There is a one-story, wood frame with a weatherboard pyramidal roof garage to the east of the primary resource. The house style and materials choice are representative of the neighborhood, and the house follows setback from the street typical of the neighborhood.
