From the National Register nomination
The 1926 2.5-story, wood-frame with brick veneer Colonial Revival multiple dwelling sits on a limestone foundation under a pyramidal pressed metal shingle roof with projecting dormers and bracketed eaves. The building has 4506 square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing within the neighborhood. The façade of the building features a four-bay arrangement with two centered points of entry that are accessed by a divided paired wood column on brick piers porch that extends to the south to create a south porte cochere. The center brick piers bear the inscription “Fern Rock”. The windows throughout are eight-over-one, double-hung, wood-sash. There are north and south exterior brick chimneys. The site has mature trees to the rear of the lot. There is also a one-story brick garage with a flat roof located to the east of the primary resource. The house style and materials choice are consistent with the neighborhood and the house follows typical setback from the street for the neighborhood.
