BrickContributes to the historic character of the district
From the National Register nomination
The 1956 one-story, wood-frame with brick veneer modified Ranch house sits on a non-visible foundation under a hipped asphalt shingled roof. The house 2818 has square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing within the neighborhood. There is minimal ornamentation on the main façade of the building with an off-center to the east front door and three one-over-one vinyl windows. There is also an exterior end west chimney. The site has a paved driveway to the west and there are mature shade trees to the rear of the property. The house style and materials choice are representative of mid-twentieth century modern movement architectural forms. The selection of brick veneer for the exterior treatment, compliance with setback traditions and height traditions for the neighborhood also shows how the house is in keeping with the significance of the neighborhood.
