BrickContributes to the historic character of the district
From the National Register nomination
The contributing 1938 two-story, wood-frame with brick veneer Colonial Revival sits on a poured concrete foundation under a side-gabled, asphalt-shingled roof. The house has 4,024 square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing within the neighborhood. The façade of the house features a four-bay arrangement with a centered front door under a one-story, one-bay wood-columned porch. The windows throughout include one-over-one, double-hung and eight-over-eight, double-hung and six-over-six, double-hung, wood sash. There is a central interior brick chimney. There is a massive decorative concrete trellis system in the rear of the house and there is a gable roofed, brick veneer garage that is located to the east of the house. The front and rear yards are heavily landscaped with brick parking areas in the front and elaborate trellis elements and a frame gazebo with a copper roof is located in the backyard of the house. The house style and materials choice are consistent with the neighborhood and the house follows typical setback from the street for the neighborhood.
