The 1932 “Biltwell” is a 2.5-story, wood-frame with brick veneer Tudor Revival apartment building that rests on a limestone foundation under a side-gabled roof with projecting dormers with Tudor Revival detailing that was built in 1932 by Nielsen builders. The building has 5,940 square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing within the neighborhood. The balanced and symmetrical façade of the building has a seven-bay arrangement with two distinct units with matching one-story, one-bay porches with brick piers on limestone bases, a central point of entry, and three projecting dormers with Tudor style wood detailing and stucco. The dormers have one center massive dormer that is flanked by two smaller scale dormers. There are north and south exterior-end brick chimneys. There is one-story, six-bay garage with has a flat roof located to the west of the primary resource. The house sits on a typically sized lot for the neighborhood and is representative of setback standards for the neighborhood. The house style and materials choice are representative of the neighborhood, and the house follows setback from the street typical of the neighborhood.
