BrickContributes to the historic character of the district
From the National Register nomination
The 1938 two-story, wood frame with brick veneer Colonial Revival house sits on a concrete block foundation under a side-gabled roof clad with asphalt shingles. The building has 3,080 square feet, which is consistent with scale and massing within the neighborhood. The façade of the building is symmetrical with a central front door that is flanked by inset pilasters. The façade also has eight-over-eight, double-hung, vinyl replacement windows. There is a central interior brick chimney. There is a one-story projection with a basement located on the west elevation of the house that serves as the garage for the house and is accessed by a concrete driveway also on the west side of the house. There is a concrete retaining wall with a brick cap that defines the driveway on the west. There are no outbuildings associated with this primary resource. The house style and materials choice are representative of the neighborhood, and the house follows setback from the street typical of the neighborhood.
